about David Schraer

I practice architecture in Seattle with in-plain-air architects and planners – www.inplainair.com. I grew up in a small Missouri town on the Mississippi River called Louisiana twenty miles south of where Mark Twain wrote about Tom & Huck. Educated at Washington University in St. Louis, I served in the Peace Corps in the Sultanate of Oman before moving to Seattle in 1979. In addition to architecture, I have experience and interests in community development, hi-tech product development, politics, archeology and historic preservation.
